PASCAL MOULÉVRIER

 

Sociologist, Professor of sociology at the University of Nantes, researcher at the Nantes Center for Sociology (CENS – UMR 6025), sociology laboratory at the University of Nantes.

 

For more than 20 years, work on the sociology of behavior, economic relations and institutions and the social uses of money has been the strong point of his research.

Her most recent fields of investigation lead her to investigate the practices of collection of unpaid debts in order to understand the processes of social construction of private and public policies for the financialization of support for the poorest.

 

She is also interested in questions of method in sociology and the place of the image in social analyses. These reflections led her to the production of a documentary "To have or not. Our stories of money", in collaboration with the filmmaker Céline Thiou
