Doctor of sociology and associate researcher at the Émile Durkheim Center (UMR 5116),
SciencesPo Bordeaux, she joined the PHARes team in 2023, from Bordeaux
Population Health Research Center (BPH) of Inserm UMR1219, at the University of
Bordeaux. She joined the APPIE research program (Analysis of Policies
Public Impact on Children), focused on children's health, in an approach
integral, and in particular on the non-health dimensions of their well-being:
the influence of social cohesion in a neighborhood, school relationships,
the friendly environment… She also carries out missions as a sociologist
independent.
For almost fifteen years, his research has focused on the question of the relationship to
politics and more specifically on the construction of citizenship of the “excluded”
arenas of power and formal and institutional decision-making spaces. In
a resolutely inductive qualitative sociology approach, she works on the
popular environments that she studies in France and Latin America, notably through the
prism of gender and youth. His latest works explore the paths of
research-creation. Artistic collaborations (photography, drawing, theater,
exhibition) take part in the investigation process and feed the extensions
of research, ways of circulating it.
